It was on the beautiful sandy beach of a secluded island in The Philippines that Corey got down on one knee and proposed to Vanessa.
Corey had bought a makeshift ring in Manilla for the time being, which would be replaced with something stunning when they returned home.
After nine years of friendship, fun and a shared love of travel, they knew it was meant to be!
Corey and Vanessa were introduced by a mutual friend and met up for a casual coffee a while later.
Vanessa told me that after that first coffee both her and Corey realised they had so much common, and from that moment onwards they spent as much time as they could together.
I photographed Corey and Vanessa’s engagement portrait session at the Fairfield Boat House early one Saturday morning, capturing beautiful light and atmosphere. This place is close to the heart of Corey and Vanessa, and was where they held an engagement party for their closest family and friends.
I am really looking forward to photographing Corey and Vanessa’s wedding in the Mornington Peninsula later this year!!!
